The Comfort is front-wheel drive and uses an automatic transmission, with 0–100km/h taking approximately 7.7 seconds. The Comfort's 12.96kWh Blade Battery provides up to 62km of WLTP combined pure-electric range, allowing many regular journeys to be completed using electric power. When the battery needs support, the petrol engine provides the additional flexibility to keep travelling. BYD quotes a combined WLTP range of up to 992km.
