BYD SEALION 7 EXCELLENCE AWD – 100% ELECTRIC PERFORMANCE SUV – 530PS MEET THE BYD SEALION 7 EXCELLENCE AWD – ELECTRIC PERFORMANCE, PREMIUM COMFORT AND SUV PRACTICALITY The BYD SEALION 7 Excellence AWD is the flagship of the SEALION 7 range, combining serious electric performance with premium technology, sophisticated styling and the practicality of a spacious SUV. With 530PS, intelligent all-wheel drive and 502KM WLTP combined range, this is an electric SUV designed for drivers who want far more than simply getting from A to B. It delivers the instant response of an electric performance car while retaining the comfort and practicality expected from a premium family SUV. 530PS – AWD – 0–100KM/H IN JUST 4.5 SECONDS The Excellence AWD uses dual electric motors to provide intelligent all-wheel drive, producing 390kW / 530PS and 690Nm of torque. That translates into a 0–100km/h time of just 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 215km/h. It is seriously quick for a large SUV, yet the instant delivery of electric torque keeps the experience smooth and effortless. The intelligent AWD system can distribute power between the front and rear motors, providing the performance you'd expect from the flagship SEALION 7 while adding confidence in changing road conditions. 91.3KWH BLADE BATTERY – UP TO 502KM WLTP RANGE The Excellence AWD features BYD's 91.3kWh Blade Battery, giving it up to 502km WLTP combined range. For Irish motorists, that makes the SEALION 7 a genuinely capable long-distance EV. Whether you're commuting around Dublin, travelling to Cork or Galway, or heading across the country for a weekend away, the combination of battery capacity and rapid charging makes longer journeys considerably easier. The Excellence AWD supports up to 230kW DC rapid charging, with BYD quoting approximately 10–80% charging in 24 minutes under suitable conditions. A PREMIUM CABIN WITH SERIOUS TECHNOLOGY Inside, the SEALION 7 feels every bit as advanced as its exterior. At the centre of the dashboard is a 15.6" electrically rotatable touchscreen, paired with a 10.25" full TFT digital instrument display. The Excellence AWD adds a Head-Up Display, allowing key driving information to be presented directly in the driver's line of sight. The cabin also features a premium 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, navigation, BYD's “Hi, BYD” intelligent voice control, 4G connectivity and BYD App connected services. CLEVER STORAGE AND EVERYDAY PRACTICALITY Despite the performance figures, the SEALION 7 remains a practical five-seat SUV. It provides 520 litres of rear boot space, expanding to 1,789 litres with the rear seats folded, while an additional 58-litre front boot provides useful extra storage. That means there is plenty of room for luggage, shopping, family equipment or everything you'll need for a weekend away. The large 2,930mm wheelbase also helps create a spacious cabin with generous room for both front and rear passengers.
