BYD SEAL EXCELLENCE AWD – FULLY ELECTRIC PERFORMANCE SALOON – 530PS DISCOVER THE BYD SEAL EXCELLENCE AWD – THE FLAGSHIP BYD SEAL Meet the BYD SEAL Excellence AWD, the flagship specification of BYD’s striking fully electric saloon range. Combining dual-motor all-wheel drive, 530PS, premium technology and sophisticated Ocean-inspired design, the Excellence AWD delivers genuine sports-car performance while retaining the comfort, practicality and refinement expected from a modern everyday saloon. The SEAL Design RWD is also available for customers looking for rear-wheel drive and an impressive combination of performance and range, while the Excellence AWD takes things to another level. 530PS – DUAL-MOTOR AWD – 0–100KM/H IN 3.8 SECONDS The Excellence AWD uses dual electric motors to produce 390kW / 530PS and 670Nm of torque, with power delivered through all four wheels. The result is an extraordinary 0–100km/h time of just 3.8 seconds, giving the SEAL Excellence AWD genuine performance-car acceleration while retaining the smooth and silent driving experience of a fully electric vehicle. With instant electric torque and intelligent all-wheel drive, the SEAL feels exceptionally responsive whether you're pulling away in town, joining a motorway or overtaking on an Irish country road. ELECTRIC PERFORMANCE FOR EVERYDAY DRIVING The SEAL Excellence AWD combines its performance with a substantial BYD Blade Battery and up to 520km WLTP combined range in the current Irish specification. The SEAL also supports rapid DC charging, making longer journeys around Ireland considerably easier to manage. BYD Ireland quotes up to 150kW DC charging, giving you the ability to make efficient use of high-power public charging when travelling further afield. For everyday driving around Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and beyond, home charging can make the SEAL exceptionally convenient, while the substantial battery gives you the flexibility to tackle longer journeys around the country. STRIKING OCEAN-INSPIRED DESIGN The SEAL's design is one of its biggest attractions. Its low, aerodynamic profile, sculpted bodywork and distinctive Ocean X-inspired front end give it a presence that sets it apart from more conventional executive saloons. Slim LED lighting, flowing body lines and the full-width rear light signature create a sleek, modern appearance, while the low roofline and wide stance give the Excellence AWD a genuinely sporty look. And in Polar White, as shown in the photographs, the SEAL's sculpted bodywork and distinctive lighting design really stand out. A PREMIUM, TECHNOLOGY-FOCUSED CABIN Inside, the Excellence AWD feels every bit as advanced as its exterior. The centrepiece is BYD's large 15.6" high-definition touchscreen, supported by a 10.25" digital driver display. The cabin also features BYD's “Hi, BYD” intelligent voice control, navigation, 4G connectivity, BYD App connected services and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SEAL's 2920mm wheelbase also helps create generous accommodation for both front and rear passengers, making it a very capable everyday family car as well as a performance EV.
