1995 Porsche 911 993
Description
AWAITING FULL PREPARATION, PLEASE ENQUIRE WITHIN!!!
If you know, you know. And if you don’t, this is the one that will teach you very quickly. A properly sorted, air-cooled 993 Carrera with a manua ...
l gearbox – the automotive equivalent of a perfectly poured pint: simple, honest and guaranteed to improve your day.
This 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera is powered by the legendary naturally aspirated 3.6-litre flat-six, sending 268bhp to the rear wheels through the all-important six-speed manual transmission. It has covered just 73,492 miles from new and, crucially, has been in the same ownership since 2007 – the kind of long-term custodianship we like to see. Finished in Polar Silver over a grey leather interior, it’s understated, elegant and quietly confident… much like someone who knows exactly how good a 993 really is.
The car sits on 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels fitted with Continental tyres, with black callipers peeking through. Specification includes an electric sunroof, electrically adjustable hard-backed sports seats, air conditioning (which works properly – always worth mentioning), rear wiper and an upgraded Kenwood CD stereo with USB and auxiliary inputs. There’s also an amplifier neatly installed in the luggage compartment for those who occasionally fancy something other than flat-six music.
Mechanically, this is a very well cared-for example with an extensive history file. The service portfolio is impressive, including recent work by respected marque specialists Nine Excellence, who last serviced the car in July 2025 at 73,211 miles. Additional maintenance in recent years includes cam covers and gaskets, oil transfer tubes, clutch housing vent hose, oil level sender gasket, and front brake discs and pads. The front shock absorbers and oil cooler housing fan have also been replaced during the current ownership, along with a new ABS sensor fitted by Kent Porsche in February 2026. A new Bosch battery was installed on 18/02/2026. The history stretches right back to its PDI at Porsche Centre Tonbridge in April 1995, with numerous documented services from AFN Porsche, Paragon, Rivervale Porsche, La Rose and Nine Excellence.
The car comes complete with its owner’s book pack, service book, invoices, tax discs and two sets of keys with Porsche fobs. It has covered fewer than 300 miles since its last service and, by all accounts, drives exactly as a tight, well-maintained 993 should. On the road it feels solid, responsive and properly engaging – the sort of car that reminds you why people still obsess over air-cooled 911s.
This example is still awaiting full preparation, but can be inspected at any time. As it stands, it is a very clean, original and extremely well sorted car from long-term ownership, and one that is hard to fault. It’s the kind of 993 that doesn’t shout, doesn’t need to, and simply delivers that unmistakable air-cooled experience every time you turn the key.
A majorly impressive car, ready for B-road blasts.
