2026 Ford Grand Tourneo Connect Dual Drive From Wheelchair & Upfront Passenger

Introducing the 2026 Ford Grand Tourneo Connect Dual Drive wheelchair accessible conversion, designed to give wheelchair users true independence and flexibility. This innovative vehicle allows you to either drive from your wheelchair or travel as an upfront passenger, with layouts tailored to your individual needs.

The latest Ford conversion offers two main options

Drive from your wheelchair and switch to upfront passenger while on your journey, thanks to interchangeable front seats so you can share the driving.
A dedicated upfront passenger solution, allowing you to travel in the front next to the driver.
The conversion can seat up to four people, with up to two rear twist and fold seats (available at additional cost).

Fully Automated Tailgate and Ramp

Drive/Upfront model features a fully automated tailgate and ramp, giving complete independence.
Use the key fob to open the tailgate and deploy the shallow low-angle ramp, then easily enter from the rear into the driver or upfront passenger position.
Once in place, simply press a button on the dashboard or key fob and the tailgate and ramp will close.
Upfront-only versions are available with either manual or automated tailgate and ramp.
Rear entry means you can park in a standard space and dont rely on extra-wide disabled bays.
Low, Anti-Slip Ramp & Interior

Anti-slip coating on the ramp improves traction in wet conditions.
Interior floor finished in anti-slip material for added safety and stability.
Bespoke securing solutions for equipment, shopping or assistive devices can be fitted on request.
Driving, Controls & Adaptations

All driver adaptations are personalised and can be configured differently depending on each individuals requirements.
We can work with you to specify hand controls, steering aids, accelerator/brake solutions and more to ensure the vehicle suits your exact needs.
