The 262 BYD SEALION 7 Design is one of the most impressive new electric SUVs arriving on the Irish market, combining sleek coupe-inspired styling, premium comfort, advanced EV technology, and exceptional value for money in a package designed to rival the Tesla Model Y, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and XPENG G6. Modern, spacious, and packed with technology, the SEALION 7 Design delivers a genuinely premium electric driving experience while still offering the practicality Irish families and commuters need every day.

With its sharp LED lighting, sculpted bodywork, aerodynamic SUV-coupe silhouette, flush door handles, and aggressive front-end styling, the SEALION 7 has serious road presence. BYD’s latest Ocean Series design language gives the car a futuristic and sporty appearance that stands out immediately on Irish roads while still maintaining the practicality of a family SUV.

The Design specification delivers a huge level of standard equipment, featuring BYD’s signature rotating touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, panoramic glass roof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated and ventilated seats, wireless charging, ambient lighting, premium interior finishes, adaptive cruise control, 360-degree camera system, and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems. The minimalist cabin layout and high-quality materials give the SEALION 7 a genuinely premium atmosphere that rivals far more expensive EVs.

Powered by BYD’s highly regarded Blade Battery technology, the SEALION 7 Design combines impressive efficiency, strong real-world range, and smooth electric performance. The Blade Battery has become widely recognised globally for its safety, durability, and thermal stability, helping reassure Irish buyers moving into electric motoring. Fast charging capability also makes the SEALION 7 exceptionally practical for motorway journeys and longer trips around Ireland.

The spacious EV platform provides excellent rear legroom, generous boot capacity, and a comfortable flat-floor interior layout, making the SEALION 7 especially well suited to growing families and long-distance travel. The elevated driving position and refined suspension setup also make it particularly comfortable on Irish roads and motorway journeys.

One of the biggest selling points for Irish buyers is BYD’s exceptional value for money. The SEALION 7 includes a huge amount of premium equipment as standard, with many features costing significantly more on rival premium EVs. Combined with low EV running costs, affordable charging, and strong efficiency, it offers one of the most complete electric SUV ownership packages currently available in Ireland.

BYD also provides excellent warranty coverage, including a comprehensive 6-year / 150,000km vehicle warranty alongside an 8-year / 200,000km Blade Battery warranty, giving buyers strong peace of mind for long-term ownership.

Owners and reviewers consistently praise BYD vehicles for their strong build quality, quiet cabin refinement, generous standard equipment, and impressive comfort levels. Many drivers are particularly impressed by how premium and well-finished the latest BYD interiors feel compared to established European rivals.

For Irish buyers looking for a stylish 262 electric SUV with premium comfort, advanced EV technology, strong practicality, impressive range, and exceptional value for money, the BYD SEALION 7 Design stands out as one of the most exciting and desirable new EVs currently arriving in Ireland.
