2024 BYD DOLPHIN COMFORT EV 204 – 60.48kWh – GREY – €27,633 – 23,989KM – YG24WJK

€27,633 – 2024 BYD DOLPHIN COMFORT WITH 204HP AND 60.48kWh BATTERY!

This 2024 BYD DOLPHIN Comfort is a fantastic opportunity to get behind the wheel of a stylish, fully electric hatchback offering impressive range, strong performance, excellent technology and the quality that has made BYD such a major name in the EV market. Finished in a smart Grey, this example has covered 23,989km and is available for €27,633, making it a seriously attractive option for anyone looking to make the move to electric without stretching to the price of a new EV.

The DOLPHIN Comfort uses BYD's 60.48kWh Blade Battery with a powerful 204hp electric motor, producing 310Nm of instant torque. The front-wheel-drive setup gives the DOLPHIN effortless acceleration and a smooth, refined driving experience, with the instant response of an electric motor making it particularly enjoyable around town while still providing plenty of performance for Irish motorway driving. BYD quotes a WLTP range of up to 427km, giving you plenty of flexibility for commuting, daily family driving and longer journeys.

The DOLPHIN is perfectly suited to everyday Irish driving. Its compact dimensions make it easy to navigate busy Dublin streets, car parks and narrower roads, while the efficient electric drivetrain makes it ideal for drivers looking to reduce their day-to-day running costs. The standard heat pump also helps maximise efficiency in colder weather, while the 11kW onboard charger provides convenient home or destination charging when a suitable three-phase setup is available.

Inside, the DOLPHIN Comfort has a surprisingly spacious and modern cabin, with BYD's distinctive 12.8-inch electrically rotatable touchscreen taking centre stage. The system includes GPS navigation, intelligent voice control, 4G connectivity and BYD App cloud services, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide familiar smartphone connectivity. A 5-inch TFT digital instrument display keeps key driving information directly in front of you.

Comfort is another major strength, with heated front seats, vegan leather seating and an airy, well-designed interior. The DOLPHIN's electric platform creates useful passenger space, including a flat rear floor, while the 60:40 split-folding rear seats allow the boot to expand from approximately 345 litres to 1,310 litres when required.

The DOLPHIN is also packed with useful technology and safety equipment. The Comfort specification includes front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, lane assistance, traffic-sign recognition and a comprehensive suite of active safety systems, alongside keyless entry and start, NFC key functionality, Vehicle-to-Load capability and the standard heat pump.

The Grey exterior gives this particular DOLPHIN a clean and sophisticated look, while the flowing bodywork and distinctive lighting signature give it considerably more presence than the average compact hatchback. It is a car that looks modern, feels modern and is designed specifically around the advantages of electric driving.

At €27,633, this is an extremely appealing way into a 2024 BYD DOLPHIN Comfort. You get 204hp, a 60.48kWh Blade Battery, up to 427km WLTP range, heated seats, a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen, navigation, smartphone connectivity, heat-pump technology and extensive safety equipment, all in a stylish and practical electric hatchback.

For anyone looking for a high-specification electric car that is easy to live with every day, this DOLPHIN deserves serious attention. With 23,989km and a €27,633 price tag, it offers an excellent balance of affordability, technology, performance and electric range.
