The torque is transferred to the front wheels via an electronically actuated mechanical limited-slip differential and sports 7-speed DSG transmission. For braking, the GTI TCR comes with larger perforated front brake discs and calipers. The car sits 5mm lower than the standard GTI, with available Adaptive Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC).
