1991 Ferrari 348 3.4 TS LEFT HAND DRIVE
Description
Finished in the intimate and utterly classic combination of Rosso Corsa with a tobacco leather interior, this early 348 TS looks exactly as a proper Ferrari from the early 1990s should. Being an early ...
example, it retains the beautiful factory detail of the lower panels painted in black, a feature that really sets these first cars apart.
We originally sourced and supplied this car around five years ago for a customer. The brief at the time was simple but very specific find a low mileage, highly original car with excellent provenance. After a search in Europe, this was the one that ticked every box and today it remains just as exceptional.
The car has covered just over 36,000 miles from new across its 35-year life, and it shows in every area. Much of the paintwork remains original, something that is becoming increasingly rare on these cars. The service history is comprehensive and well documented, and it currently sits on the correct Continental tyres.
Weve also just returned from a 500-mile journey in the car this weekend, driving alongside a selection of modern and classic supercars. The 348 didnt miss a beat. In fact, it reminded us exactly why these cars are so special. The dog-leg 5-speed gated gearbox is superb, the clutch (replaced only a couple of thousand miles ago) is light and precise, and the whole car feels alive in a way many modern cars simply dont.
The steering is quite honestly one of the best we have ever experienced. It communicates everything. If I drove over a snail, I could probably tell you what it ate for breakfast. The targa roof lifts out beautifully, the air conditioning works perfectly, and all the roof seals are like new small details that make a big difference when actually using the car.
Before delivery, the car will receive a major engine-out service, including a full engine and gearbox service along with timing belts, gaskets, water pump, tensioners and associated items, ensuring the next owner can simply get in and enjoy it.
As Evo Magazine recently wrote about the model The 348 is finally being recognised for what it always was one of the last truly analogue Ferraris, raw, communicative and hugely rewarding to drive.
We couldnt agree more. An exceptional example of an increasingly appreciated Ferrari and, at the price point, an absolute bargain in the world of classic Maranello cars.
One of the very best. And one of the most underrated Ferraris ever built. Complete with original owners manuals, service book, tool kit, leather roof cover and car cover.
